Job Description
Main Responsibilities:
Assist in developing and executing procurement plans aligned with company policies and budgets.
Support supplier sourcing and quotation comparisons to ensure the best value in terms of price, quality, and delivery.
Monitor and follow up on purchase requisitions raised by departments to ensure timely procurement.
Coordinate the procurement of goods and services to meet operational requirements.
Liaise with suppliers and internal departments to resolve delivery, quality, or payment issues.
Maintain and update procurement records, contracts, and vendor databases accurately.
Assist in vendor evaluations and performance reviews under the guidance of the Procurement Manager.
Help ensure compliance with procurement procedures, company policies, and audit requirements.
Follow up on logistics and customs clearance for overseas purchases.
Perform administrative duties including preparing reports, tracking purchases, and processing purchase orders (POs).
Support negotiations with suppliers on pricing and contract terms as directed.
Assist in identifying cost-saving opportunities and process improvements.
Any other procurement-related tasks assigned by the Procurement Manager or Financial Controller.
Who Must You Be? (Requirement)
Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field
Minimum 3–5 years of procurement experience in the Hotel, Resort or F&B chain.
Good understanding of procurement practices and supply chain operations
Able to analyze quotations and perform basic price benchmarking
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Proactive, responsible, and able to work independently with minimal supervision
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Strong communication skills in both English and Bahasa Malaysia
Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
