Oversee day-to-day operations of the General Trading Unit, ensuring all projects and tasks are delivered efficiently, within timeline and budget.
Lead and supervise the project coordination team, providing direction, mentorship, and support to ensure high performance and professional development.
Develop, implement, and monitor operational policies and procedures to ensure consistent quality and compliance with company standards.
Serve as the key point of contact for high-level client communication, managing expectations, resolving escalations, and maintaining strong relationships.
Strategically allocate resources (personnel, budget, tools) to meet operational and project needs while optimizing efficiency.
Track and review project and operational performance metrics, identifying issues, risks, and areas for improvement; implement corrective actions proactively.
Prepare and present operational reports, proposals, and forecasts to Senior Management for strategic decision-making.
Ensure effective cross-functional collaboration between sales, logistics, procurement, and finance to streamline workflow and project delivery.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives, promoting innovation, cost-efficiency, and best practices across all operational activities.
Ensure proper documentation and reporting for all operational activities in accordance with internal controls and external regulatory requirements.
Manage vendor and supplier relationships, including contract negotiation and performance evaluation.
Undertake special projects and tasks as directed by Senior Management to support strategic business initiatives.
Job Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Supply Chain, or related field; Master’s Degree is an advantage.
Minimum 5 years of working experience in operations, project management, or general trading, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
Proven experience in leading teams and managing complex projects or operational functions.
Strong leadership, organizational, and decision-making skills.
Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities with a track record of building and maintaining strong stakeholder relationships.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and operational/project management tools (e.g., ERP systems, project dashboards).
High attention to detail, analytical mindset, and problem-solving capability.
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
