Able to speak in English and Bahasa Malaysia
Knowledgeable about Social Media platforms and tools and possess a clear understanding on how Social Media value adds to a business/brand
Have the entrepreneurial in your approach and savvy value-added thinker
Industry knowledge: Web 2.0 and social media related platforms, technologies, applications, development and challenges
Ability to work independently and under pressure with high degree of confidentiality
Strong understanding of current online marketing concepts, strategies and best practises
Energetic, digital savvy and in tune with a wide variety of social media activities and opportunities (ie: Facebook, Instagram, Google, Youtube, Tiktok, etc)
Responsibilities
Content Creation and Scheduling
Write and design posts: Create engaging and relevant content, including captions, graphics, and videos, aligned with the brand's voice and objectives.
Schedule posts: Use social media management tools to schedule posts at optimal times for audience engagement.
Assist in brainstorming: Help the team come up with new content ideas, based on trends, events, or company initiatives.
Community Management
Engage with followers: Respond to comments, direct messages, and mentions in a timely and friendly manner to build brand loyalty.
Monitor conversations: Keep an eye on user-generated content, mentions, and hashtags relevant to the brand or industry.
Support customer service: Address basic customer inquiries or concerns via social media channels, escalating more complex issues to senior team members.
Social Media Monitoring and Reporting
Track social media metrics: Measure the success of posts using platform insights or external tools to track metrics like engagement, reach, and impressions.
Prepare basic reports: Assist in creating weekly or monthly reports summarizing social media performance and suggesting improvements.
Monitor trends: Stay updated on social media trends, industry news, and competitors' activities.
Campaign Support
Assist in campaign execution: Help with the planning, launching, and monitoring of paid or organic campaigns (e.g., giveaways, promotions, influencer collaborations).
Content updates: Ensure all content aligns with the campaign strategy and adjust as needed based on performance.
Coordinate with other teams: Work with marketing, design, or PR teams to support broader marketing efforts.
Administrative Support
Maintain social media calendar: Ensure all posts are scheduled in a timely manner and aligned with the content calendar.
Research: Assist with finding potential influencers, trending hashtags, or content ideas that align with the brand.
