Requirements
Possess a Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
Proficiency in cost estimation techniques and software for accurate project budgeting.
Ability to perform quantity takeoff from construction drawings and specifications with precision.
Demonstrated understanding of cost control principles and methods to manage project expenses effectively.
Excellent communication skills in both Mandarin and English, enabling effective collaboration with diverse stakeholders.
Eagerness to learn and apply quantity surveying principles in a practical construction environment.
Familiarity with construction materials, methods, and industry best practices.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify cost-saving opportunities and resolve budget discrepancies.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team, contributing to project success.
Proficient in using relevant software for quantity surveying tasks, such as AutoCAD, BIM, or similar tools.
Responsibilities
Assist in the preparation of cost estimates, budgets, and financial forecasts for construction projects.
Perform quantity takeoff from construction drawings and specifications to accurately determine material and labor requirements.
Support the implementation of cost control measures throughout the project lifecycle to ensure adherence to budget.
Assist in the preparation and submission of progress claims, variations, and final accounts.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all project-related costs, quantities, and variations.
Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure effective cost management and project delivery.
Assist in the evaluation of subcontractor quotations and tender submissions.
Support the preparation of cost reports and analysis to track project performance and identify areas for improvement.
