Job Purpose / Summary:
To develop and execute the commercial business plan, identify and secure new business opportunities, and exceed sales volume and revenue targets.
Key Responsibilities:
Promote company products and services to achieve assigned KPIs and sales targets:
Sales KPI: 50 phone calls per week
Sales Lead KPI: 2 qualified sales leads per week
Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers.
Execute the sales plan in alignment with the company’s commercial goals and objectives.
Manage assigned accounts to secure NAC and FAK inbound shipments, and outbound where applicable.
Work closely with the SSC Credit Controller team to monitor debtor aging and ensure timely collections.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date call records in Nova Business on a daily basis.
Generate and share sales leads with overseas agents to support reverse canvassing for FOB business.
Actively promote value-added services (VAS) and non-maritime products.
Identify and leverage cross-selling and intermodal opportunities during customer engagements.
Requirements:
Diploma or Degree in any discipline.
2–5 years of working experience in sales, preferably in the shipping, freight forwarding, or logistics industry.
Candidates without formal qualifications but with a proven track record in the industry are encouraged to apply.
Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Persuasive, results-oriented, and self-driven.
A team player who can also work independently.
Willing to travel and must possess own transport.
