Requirements:

1. Minimum Bachelor's Degree of Laws (LLB) (Honours) from a recognised University.
2. Candidate is required to have a minimum of 3 years working experience in a legal or compliance and risk management environment, preferably with experience in a law firm.
3. Fluent in English, Bahasa Malaysia and Mandarin to effectively communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients.
4. Minimum 3 years of experience in corporate and litigation field.
5. Has knowledge and experience in MACCA, AML / CFT and PDPA compliance.



Job Scope:

1. Reporting to the HOD or General Manager.
2. Be able to independently conduct legal drafting and review of commercial agreements, related documents for internal and external purposes of the company to protect the best interests of the company.
3. Monitoring and ensuring compliance with relevant licences granted by various government agencies in relation to internal departmental operations, business activities and legal documents.
4. To interface with external counsel on any contractual, commercial and litigation matters of the company.
5. Review all internal SOPs, policies of the company from time to time. Designate internal governance strategies and monitor compliance on a regular basis.
6. Research and evaluate different risk factors related to business decisions and operations. Provide clarification on legal language or norms to relevant departments of the company.
7. Communicate and negotiate with external parties (regulators, external advisors) to build trust. Work with multiple stakeholders and forces on complex matters.
8. Maintains current and up-to-date knowledge of legislative changes. Provide regular seminars and training are given to employees on specific matters related to risk management and related legislative changes.
9. Execute assignments responsibly and in a timely manner with integrity and due diligence, including preparation of comprehensive reports on the progress of assignments and for complete record keeping purposes.
10. Oversee and manage the legal, risk and internal audit teams for relevant projects.
11. Ability to analyse and evaluate from a Management perspective.

7、研究和评估有关业务决策和运营的不同风险因素。 向组织中的相关方或所有方提供有关法律语言或规范的说明。

8、与外部各方（监管机构、外部顾问、公共当局等）进行沟通和谈判，建立信任关系。 与多个利益相关者和力量一起处理复杂的事务。

9、保持对立法变更的最新和最新知识。 就与风险管理和相关立法变更有关的特定事项定期举办研讨会和培训给员工。

10、以诚信和尽职调查的方式及时负责地执行任务，包括准备关于任务进度的综合报告和完整的记录目的。

11、领导和管理该部门的法律，风险管理和内部审计团队。

12、承担管理层自行决定的任何其他任务和任务。
