Job Summary
We’re hiring a Strategic Investment Executive to support our CEO and leadership team in external fundraising and partnership development.
Key Responsibilities
1. Fundraising & Investor Relations
Create and refine pitch decks, investor memos, and fundraising materials
Manage investor pipelines via CRM, track outreach and follow-ups
Coordinate logistics for investor meetings — scheduling, notes, follow-up actions
Assist leadership team during investor pitches and due diligence processes
Monitor investor data room and maintain up-to-date documents
Take charge of follow-ups, scheduling, and materials for investor meetings
Assist in pitching to potential investors
Help compile and update key metrics and reports
2. Investment Strategy & Market Intelligence
Conduct market and competitor research to support fundraising narrative and internal decision-making
Analyse relevant industry trends, deal flow patterns, and investor activities
Assist in maintaining and updating the company’s cap table and funding model
Support internal reporting on capital runway, fundraising scenarios, and financial projections
Identify relevant investors (VCs, CVCs, family offices) aligned with our industry and stage
3. Strategic Partnerships
Identify and approach relevant VCs, CVCs, accelerators, government grant bodies, or enterprise partners
Conduct research and prepare tailored briefing notes for partnership or investor meetings
Support the CEO in relationship-building with strategic stakeholders
Help execute and track the impact of partnerships or pilot programs
Research, evaluate, and reach out to corporate partners, accelerators, and grant bodies
Help structure and support strategic collaborations, POCs, or co-investment opportunities
Prepare briefing documents and talking points for CEO’s external engagements
Track the outcomes and ROI of partnership efforts
4. CEO Support
Work directly with the CEO to align external outreach with company goals.
Support special projects and strategic initiatives
Requirement:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, Accounting, or related fields. MBA, CFA Level 1 or higher, or other relevant certifications are an added advantage
Strong academic track record with demonstrated analytical and communication skills
2–5 years of relevant experience in:
Venture capital (VC) or corporate venture capital (CVC)
Startup fundraising or investor relations
Investment banking, private equity, or strategic finance
Startup accelerators
Demonstrated involvement in at least one successful fundraising round (e.g., seed, Series A, etc)
Excellent storytelling, pitch design, and presentation skills (in-person and virtual)
Financially literate — comfortable discussing cap tables, term sheets, valuations, and growth metrics
Organized, proactive, and able to manage multiple external stakeholders
