About the role

We are seeking a passionate and experienced English Teacher to join our dynamic team at I CAN READ ECO BOTANIC in Iskandar Puteri Johor. As an English Teacher, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality English language education to our young learners between the age of 3 to 14 years. This is a full-time position, and you will be based in our facility in Iskandar Puteri Johor.

What you'll be doing

Designing and delivering engaging, age-appropriate English language lessons that cater to the diverse learning needs of our students

Implementing innovative teaching methodologies to enhance the learning experience

Monitoring student progress, providing constructive feedback, and adapting teaching strategies to ensure student success

Collaborating with the teaching team to develop and refine curriculum materials, lesson plans, and assessment tools

Fostering a positive, inclusive, and nurturing learning environment that encourages student participation and growth

Maintaining accurate student records and providing regular updates to parents and school management

What we're looking for

A bachelor's degree in Education or a related field, with a specialization in English language teaching

A minimum of 2 years of experience teaching English at the primary school level

Excellent command of the English language, both written and spoken

Strong pedagogical skills and the ability to create engaging and interactive lesson plans

Demonstrated experience in using technology effectively in the classroom

A passion for working with children and a commitment to their academic and personal growth

Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills

Knowledge in teaching phonics is a plus
