Opportunity
We are hiring Analyst to join us in our KL office!
LSEG ETC (Exchange Traded Content) team covers close to 500 exchanges globally across all asset types, including Equities, Warrants, Bonds, Derivatives, Certificates, Indices, Commodities and Funds (Open Funds, ETFs), which adds up to around 65 million instruments. The core functions include maintenance of Real-Time Pricing, Timeseries End of Day & Intraday Data, Delayed Data, Reference Data, Value Added Data and Symbology data etc.
Required Day to Day Responsibilities
Collect and maintain relevant information about Equities and Derivates in a timely and efficient manner
Collaborates with internal and external teams to support sourcing and collection of data
Contact exchanges and/or other sources to assure the reliability of information
Take responsibility for data quality, accuracy, timeliness, and completeness
Work effectively within teams or by yourself, proactively identifying and resolving problems
Ensure timely and complete resolution of queries from internal and external clients
Assist where requires in data projects and testing
Reports process improvement ideas to improve efficiency and customer experience
Liaise with Data Operations, Customers and third party suppliers
Document policies, procedures and work processes
Backup other analysts in the team during their absence
Work during local holidays to support specific market
Be flexible on shift adjustment
Required Skills
Advanced written and verbal communication in English
Able to read Mandarin, both simplified and traditional (this role looks into financial data in the Taiwan market)
Good learning ability, understanding of Equity and derivative markets
Microsoft Office Skills – Outlook, Word, Excel
Education
Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s Degree
Preferred Skills: SQL, Python, Lean Six Sigma

This role is on blended work model, with 3 days working on the office and 2 days working remotely. Standard working hours is Monday - Friday, 9AM - 6PM.
