Work closely with the IT Manager on various projects, providing day-to-day technical and operational support.
Provide timely support and basic training to internal users, ensuring a smooth and efficient user experience.
Manage IT assets and oversee the procurement and inventory of IT equipment, ensuring proper resource utilization.
Handle IT setup and system access for new joiners and ensure proper deactivation during offboarding.
Configure, install, and deploy new PCs, ensuring hardware and software are fully functional.
Support and maintain IT infrastructure across offices, warehouses, and retail outlets.
Install and update IT equipment, systems, and operating software to ensure performance and stability.
Diagnose and resolve issues related to hardware, software, printers, and networking for PCs and users.
Manage user accounts and email access, ensuring appropriate permissions, security, and documentation.
Assist with additional tasks or projects assigned by the IT Manager, supporting overall IT operations.
Provide first-level support for POS system issues on weekdays and weekends, remotely or on-site as needed.
Requirement
Diploma or Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience with POS system support, preferably in a retail environment.
Strong knowledge in hardware troubleshooting, installation, and maintenance.
Proficient in Windows OS setup, basic networking, and IT infrastructure support.
Experience in managing user accounts, email systems (e.g., Microsoft 365), and endpoint security.
Able to provide timely support to internal users and resolve technical issues independently.
Willing and able to travel to retail outlets in Penang, Johor Bahru, and other locations when required.
Good communication skills and a proactive, problem-solving attitude.
Able to support POS-related issues during weekdays and weekends, both remotely and on-site.
